Marloes Venema

As of September 2018, I am a PhD student under supervision of Greg Alpár in the Digital Security group at the Institute for Cmeomputing and Information Sciences of the Radboud University Nijmegen. Before this, I obtained a master's degree in Computing Science (specialization: Cyber Security), and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics (with a minor in Computing Science), both at the Radboud University as well.

My research interests are generally covered by the term 'cryptographic protocols for privacy protection', currently with a special focus on the enforcement of access control on a cryptographic level. To this end, I have mainly studied attribute-based encryption. My other research interests include threshold cryptography, homomorphic encryption, zero-knowledge proofs, secure multiparty computation and proxy re-encryption.
